Rollercoaster Week

This week I attended two RP Award Shows at Myspace. My main character, Lieutenant Ryan Wolf, took home 4 awards and shared in two award winning story lines. In the first award show he won Best Chemistry with Lady Blue and won Best Original Character. He shared 2nd place for funniest moment with my main vixen, Darth Wolf. I had another character take home a 3rd place award. Last night I won 1st in Best Ladies Man and another character won another 3rd place.

The photo is a template that Lady White made for me, she's going to make it larger for the 2010 RP Awards Award show. My main Vixen, Tara le Fay/Wolf, is in the background. I originally made her as a cute pain in the neck to a Star Trek Captain, she quickly became a very popular character...now if I can just get her fully adjusted on modern day Earth.

I'm happy but the constant drama over at Myspace is causing me to think about leaving that place or not being so active and get back to writing superheroine stories.

I owe Melinda, Tania, and others a reply on the email storyline, but I'll be off for sunny Miami. My dad's in the hospital and will most likely be put in a nursing home when he gets out.

Here Comes the Cavary?

A single black jet streaked over the tranquil waters of the mighty Atlantic ocean; the forward swept fighter super cruised towards a rendezvous with a stealth refueling blimp. The US Navy F/A-37 pilot, Lieutenant Ryan Wolf, eased up on the throttle as the thirsty hypersonic craft approached her destination. A series of sonic booms sounded as the craft dropped to sub sonic speeds; she banked towards her next drink as she continued to decelerate. She made contact with the refueling boom and the parched bird of prey began to chug gallons of rich fuel; Wolf sighed of relief and closed his eyes.

Ryan took a deep breath and then gazed back towards the where the distant coast of Africa would be. Wolf had to abort a high speed recon of Genosha; his HUD lit up like the 4th of July as sped off the coast of Africa and thundered over the Indian Ocean. Magneto had two squadrons of MiG-31 Foxhounds waiting as well as scores of SAM sites. "Bi-static radar," he mumbled under his breath as he turned back towards the refueling boom. He glanced down at his instrument panel, his bird was almost fully fueled; a few moments later it was time to embark on the final leg home and a nice hot shower.

She retracted her refueling nozzle; Ryan smiled and pulled away from the blimp, one hypersonic jump to Gotham NAS and it was time to relax. He was punching in some numbers into his flight computer when his bird's sensitive classified ears picked up a weak frantic transmission. Wolf shot his head up as he recognized the soft through the static, "Melinda?" He quickly located her transmission, Western Wisconsin.

"Eagle Control, this is Talon 1. I'm picking up a distress call on League of Heroines emergency channel 69. I'm en route, hypersonic speed."

"Copy Talon 1. You are cleared to engage any hostiles. I repeat, you are cleared to engage hostiles."

"Affirmative!" Lieutenant Ryan Wolf replied as his Talon's forward swept wings swept forward. They locked in place as the F/A-37 engaged her scram jets. The massive refueling blimp quickly shrunk to the size of a microbe as the nimble fighter shrieked away.

"Melinda, this is Lieutenant Wolf. Hang on, I'll be there in 30 minutes."

"Lieuten-," the transmission ended.

Ryan gritted his canines together and growled, "Come on, come on, come on," as he held tightly to his control stick.

29 minutes later a loud obnoxious sonic boom sounded over the bitter cold skies of Wisconsin. Ryan couldn't see a thing except for the vast ocean of fluffy white snow; even his bird's keen eyes couldn't pick up Melinda. Wolf turned on his FLIR, no sign of the distressed heroine; seconds later he picked up something. The Talon went into VTOL mode and hovered over an area; her hot exhaust melted the snow. Ryan slowly maneuvered the aircraft over a few feet and landed, resulting in a man made snow storm.

Seconds later Ryan held one of Melinda's power boots in his hand. He giggled it and heard something; Ryan held his gloved hand out and turned the boot over. Melinda's comm link as well as a plastic bottle; the sight of her comm link sent a chill down his back, let alone the enema. He slowly and calmly walked back to his bird, not trying to cause alarm; he realized he was now in Harm's Way. He was exposed and out in the open; away from the protection of his fighter. Once he reached his bird he quickly climbed up his ladder and took off as fast as the Talon would allow.

"Eagle Control, this is Talon 1. I'm returning to base," Ryan stated over a secured channel as his bird lifted off the ground. Scant seconds later his left wing was violently ripped off; the bird rolled onto her side. The poor lieutenant couldn't send out a distress message; his bird suddenly died as she plopped out of the air and fell towards the frozen tundra of Wisconsin.

Ryan, ever the skilled pilot, ejected safely; he landed hard a couple hundred feet from the burial ground of the multi-million dollar fighter. He instinctively rolled as soon as he hit the frozen ground; Wolf stopped and stood up on his knees. He quickly unharnessed himself and reached for his survival gun.

A blurred hand pulled it out of his hand; the terrified combat ace swallowed and slowly looked up. He saw a beautiful scantily clad smug woman standing in front of him. She evilly cooed, "Hello Lieutenant Ryan Tiberius Wolf, I've been expecting you."
